Renovation of a Dilapidated Apartment for Airbnb
This project was centered around transforming a worn-out apartment into a modern, elegant retreat for Airbnb guests, guided by a contemporary design aesthetic. Our design palette embraced simplicity and sophistication. We used a blend of neutral tones—beige, coffee brown, and soft gold accents—to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Throughout the space, we layered whites, greys, and calming blues to maintain a refreshing and timeless look.
From structural renovation and MEP (Mechanical + Electrical + Plumbing) upgrades to the final interior styling—our Favorite phase—we paid close attention to every detail. The result is a serene, elegant environment that we’re incredibly proud of. Each room now feels soothing and thoughtfully curated, ideal for providing guests with both comfort and visual delight.

Space Planning & Zoning – Flow & Functionality
Every area was reimagined for optimal spatial efficiency, ensuring fluid transitions from public zones (living and dining) to private areas (bedrooms and bathrooms), enhancing guest comfort.
Structural Renovation – From Shell to Showcase
This project included full-scale remodeling: demolition, space reconfiguration, and structural upgrades to modern standards, setting the foundation for a high-performing interior.
MEP Integration – Behind-the-Walls Brilliance
All Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing works were reinstalled to ensure safety, comfort, and functionality aligned with modern hospitality standards
Material & Finish Selection – Harmonious Layers
We layered textures and finishes—polished surfaces, plush soft furnishings, and natural elements—to achieve balance between sophistication and warmth.
Furnishing & Styling – Understated Elegance
Each room was styled to reflect a boutique hospitality experience: curated accessories, bespoke furniture pieces, ambient lighting, and artful detailing.
Lighting Design – Mood-Enhancing Illumination
A blend of ambient, task, and accent lighting creates inviting scenes throughout, enhancing the architectural elements and overall ambiance.
Guest-Centric Design – Comfort Meets Aesthetics
From cozy bedding to functional storage, every design choice was made with short-stay guests in mind—merging aesthetics with everyday usability.
Final Outcome – A Boutique Airbnb Experience
The finished space is serene, welcoming, and highly functional—positioning the Lily Court Airbnb as a standout hospitality destination in Abuja.
